This page is for informational purposes only. It is to give you an idea of what services we offer.

So take a deep breath, relax and know that you are not responsible for figuring out what services your child is in need of. We will help you every step of the way but just know that services are determined by the diagnosis, insurance, and your childs individualized needs.

early intervention At Prism

Early intervention is based around the childs age and services needed. Early intervention services are provided to infants and toddlers (18 months to age 3) with developmental delays and their families. Research has shown that early intervention can have a significant impact on a child's ability to learn new skills and increase their success in school and life. Early intervention includes:

  • Applied Behavior Analysis

  • Speech and Language Therapy

  • Occupational Therapy

Why is early intervention important?

  • Intervention is likely to be more effective when it is provided earlier in life rather than later.

  • The connections in a baby’s brain are most adaptable in the first three years of life. These connections, also called neural circuits, are the foundation for learning, behavior, and health. Over time, these connections become harder to change.

  • Early intervention services can change a child’s developmental path and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.
